Harding (CP), seriously wounded on May 10 and after many surgeon operations (left leg and hand), he left the MTO to the USA, the war was over to him, replaced by Ray Burklund after May 10; at left of Harding, navigator 2nd Lt. Richard B. Nilles (N), MIA on May 25, 1944; under the nose turret with cap on his head, T/Sgt. Alfred R. Karow (TTG), POW on May 25, 1944; in front of Al Karow, from his back, Captain Robert W. Hornbaker (P), KIA May 25, 1944; and at his left, 2nd Lt. Carl A. Gein, MIA May 25, 1944.

From May 10, 1944 over Wiener-Neustadt, Austria to May 25, 1944, the four replacement men of the Hornbaker crew were: Deneal Hoffman (NG), MIA; Rolland Baryenbruck (TG), POW; Lawrence E. Reinecke (WG), KIA after parachute did not oppened over Cannes; 2nd Lt. Ray Burklund (CP), POW.
