 Donovan Alton Himebaugh born 25 December 1919 in Hartville, Ohio died 4 February 2012 at Liberty Lake, Washington.

 Donovan is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy, and four of their five children.  They have 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

 He proudly served in the the 779th Squadron of the 464th Bombardment Group in the Fifteenth Air Force of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

Until the day he passed away, Donovan always made certain to donate every month to the Disabled American Veterans.  Donovan wore his "Liberator" cap whenever he went out and when it drew attention he was proud to discuss just what it symbolized.

 Donovan was interred at the Washington State Veteran's Cemetery at Medical Lake, along with his son, Michael Himebaugh, a Vietnam veteran.

 Donovan will be missed.
